This is making wish that now that Ghosn is in charge of Mitsubishi, he does what he did at Nissan, getting the company financially sound and then celebrating with a best-ever version of their performance flagship, doing to the Evo what he did with the GT-R.

Have you never held a roman candle?

The Evo has long been one of my favorite contemporary Japanese performance cars. Tops the GT-R and WRX STi for me, even if it doesn’t perform as well. Just such a damn good looking car.

The only thing I've ever held was a sparkler. And even those are illegal in this state. So, no, I haven't.

Ohh, I’m sorry. What state is it that’s so restrictive? I’m in New Hampshire, so I can actually buy all kinds of cool stuff. Including “mortars” that are basically small colorful bombs with a long fuse. You’re supposed to light them and put them down a cardboard tube - wait, you’re probably supposed to put them in the tube first, now that I think about it. I’ve never used a tube. Light it, wait... wait... wait........ THROW! Makes an amazing explosion especially underwater at night.
What were we talking about again?

i’m surprised the WRX took off so well and the Evo fell flat. Even on OPPO you see a WRX post at least once a day and an Ev0 once a month

Two words: dealer network.
